This past weekend in the IGL, we were unable to field a roster, so San Dawgs graciously withdrew their challenge, which we volunteered to sub in for the departing NIL8. By SD's kindness we avoided the forfeit loss. GG SD!

IKK wins over RoC in STA Silver action on Gleadhraich_r! Our defense was like the D of ole, putching a shutout in round 1, and holding them down in round 2. It was a good hard fought match, and was never a runaway, as evident by the round 1 score of 4-0! GG RoC!

We have a scrim Wednesday night, so please try to attend. Details are in the forum. We need the practice as we face LfA in TFL on Thrusday on a less than friendly map called Arid_TFL.

Let me know if you can attend or participate in Sunday night IGL PB and map playtest. I expect about 4-5 teams to show, and then hopefully enough individuals will show to put together a mutt team or two! If you don't have PB or the latest version, better download it now. It will be MANDATORY in the IGL after the Memorial Day holiday.

No STA matches next week either, due to the Memorial Day holiday! ENJOY!

Upcoming matches, rankings, Roster, and Battle History have all been updated...

We haven't faired too well lately. Our IGL slide continues, and the outlook is bleak this week when we face off against San Dawgs on 2Fort 8v8. We are filling a void left by NIL8 after their failed return to league competition.

Next up in STA is RoC, who we defeated a couple of weeks back in the STA, but due to their new computer generated schedule, and lack of match inforamtion, we got paired again. RoC is a good clan, and while we are excited to play them again, I don't think it helps the fun factor to play the same opponents over and over again, within the same league. Perhaps it is a one-time foul-up. We'll reserve judgement for now.

In the TFL, we took a BYE this week, to help out the league, and keep another team from having two bye's in a row because another long time clan, in Dvivision, has hung up their TFC unifroms. Considering the current trends of retiring clans, they should be back soon enough. So we get to face LfA this week, after facing them last week in the STA Silver. That was a memorable experience, maybe this time it will be a happier one. We'll see...

Sorry for jinxing us with talk of pulling out of a slump... :( Double-whammy losses this past Sunday and Monday, losing to CWO in IGL and losing to RICE in the STA Silver Title Match. GG's go to both teams, and congratulations to RICE for obtaining the STA Silver Title.

Upcoming matches... In TFL this Thursday we face IOD. We get to revisit Canalzon for the next couple of weeks in TFL, too. Then Sunday night we draw a tough IGL match in CSI, and that will be on Torch2. Don't recall the last time we played Torch2 competitively, but it wasn't pretty. And in a Tuesday night rarity, the STA Silver schedule has been posted. We face off against Scorp's old buddies in LfA on Gleadhraich_r. Should be interesting week to say the least.

Practice Wednesday night @8PM Eastern (as always). Also, don't forget prematch practices ALWAYS begin two hours prior to schedule match times. For the thinking impaired, those times are Sundays @7 PM, Mondays @7:30 PM, and Thursdays @7 PM. All times are Eastern for simplicity's sake.

IKK may be pulling out of it's slump. Losses in the IGL to DB and cDD over the past two weeks have been tough, but wins over RoC and Fort:IS in STA Silver, and also over eXel and eS in the TFL, have put us back on the right track. The wins have all been very close, and GG's go to all our recent opponents.

We have ClockWork Orange upcoming in the IGL this week on 2Fort. While in STA we are in the TITLE MATCH for the Silver crown against RICE on Crossover2. An exicitng week for IKK to say the least.

Excitement is growing in aniticpation of the IKK Ice Kold Summer Lan Jam (working title). Check the forum for dates and other details!

Happy Easter! No IGL match tonight due to holiday. Tomorrow night we face Bone Collector's (ran by former IKK'ers Cab and Hulk) on Canalzon. No Thursday matches in TFL due to being in between seasons. We weren't eligible to play in the torunament, although with our performance in that league so far... At any rate, SoL won the TFL 2a title if you are interested.

It's been a long time coming but IKK proudly welcomes back its prodigal son... Deathknight! w00t!

We actually had a clan council meeting this past week. Beretta and I were retained as coordinators for one more term. Hazzard was promoted to Sergeant and is now a member of the Clan Council. Congratulations Hazz!

Welcome aboard a new list of Killaz... True, GodFather, and Mayhem! True and GodFather are probably best known for their work with the recently departed DWD. Mayhem comes to us via upper Echelon. Hope you guys have fun, and stay a while! In other personnel news, DeezNutz is no longer a pleabe, and has passed the recruitment phase! Nice work.

IKK says "Hello, again..." to the Ironglove League! We are back in action this Sunday night against Team DIVISION, on Oppose2K1. We figured since no one would show for Sunday night practice, that turnout for a match would be no problem. Be there, fegs!

Errr, we are off to an auspicious start in the TFL. We are in essentially an exhibition season now, as the season long regulars in the league battle it out in the TFL Tournament. Don't take the games lightly as it will help determine our position next season! Our next TFL opponent is KoB on that pretty but ghastly map... Vidars.

"Hello, I must be going now." - IKK is Silver once more in the STA, as they make yet another reorganization. No more Platinum, so Gold is back to being the elite division. We should be proud of our Gold record only going 1 game under .500 in our 5 matches.

Sorry for the infrequent news posts lately. As my routine starts to settle in more in realtion to the clan, IGL, work, and hunting for a new house, updates will be more up to speed. I'll just pick up with the recent news....

Last week in TFL we defeated an old foe in eXel. It was on a new map to both teams, enclave. It showed. We managed to get a decisive victory, and finally evened up the score with eXel, leveling our records at 2 games a piece against each other! GG eXel! Next up in the TFL? More enclave, against another clan that we have a bit of history with... Klan Karnij. Should be interesting....

After to losing to uE last week in STA Gold, the future didn't look much brighter seeing that we were playing on Oppose2K1 AND against a great clan like WOLF! Fortunately we managed to erase a 20-0 lead after round 1 to bring home a 40-20 victory! GG WOLF! It is a true achievement to get a win against such a longstanding and storied clan such as you.

Not much news lately. Some tough losses to DIE and a NCA rematch in the TFL and STA respectively. GG to both teams.

Problems with work schedules and cable modem troubles seem to be taking their toll on IKK. All members who can make practices and matches please make an extra effort to be on time, and make your avaialbility known. Those with high pings, please still be present, as HPB's are better than playing short. It may not be the most fun thing in the world for you, but it will help out your team. Hopefully ATT @Home will get their act together soon, and the clan can start regaining some ground.

Don't forget all pre-match practices are 2 hours before the scheduled match time that evening. Our Wednesday practices are @8PM EST, and we may have scrims on Sunday nights @9PM EST. Everyone needs to make a concerted effort to be on time and ready to practice.

Scrim this Sunday night @9PM against our good friends in clan eXel! Our old STA Bronze combatants just happen to be our next TFL opponent, and they want to play Enclave, the next TFL map. please try to be there.

IKK splits IGL/STA matches... NCA takes IKK in IGL action on Tempest_r2, by a score of something less than pretty. GG NCA... ][nsurrection, who disbanded before their IGL match on Sunday, decided to add themselves to the long list of clans who have called it quits after playing IKK. We played two surreal rounds of Well and come out on top 70-20. IKK wins it's first ever STA Gold match as ][nsurrection loses its last ever match. GG ][. Sad to see you go.

In sadder news, the Ice Kold Killaz are saying "Goodbye," at least for now, to the Ironglove League. We have learned much from our trials and tribulations within the IGL. From helping SD set a Offensive record in TFC on Canalzone, to our one Title Shot appearance, to our improbable win against bad Muthas. The Clan Council voted and got the necessary 7 out of 12 possible votes needed to carry the motion to "retire" from the IGL. We will be "On Hold" officially in the league until the details can be hammered out. GG IGL and Thank You.

IKK will be joining the TFL beginning next Thursday March 8th. we have entered the 2a Division of that league. This will add a 3rd a weeknight of TFC league action, once the Quest for Honor begins play sometime in March.

In personnel news, the Killaz welcome aboard a longtime friend of the clan and former PRO and CORE member von Klagg. He will be an added soldier for our defense. Welcome aboard you canuck!

IKK is GOLDEN! In another reorg move by the STA, IKK has been moved to the Gold division due to being one of the top 3 clans in Silver. This move up comes despite our heartbreaking loss to Joe Satriani for the Silver title this past week. GG JS! Final was 90 -10 on Well. The other two teams JS and Dark Omen, will join Gold a week later after their title match in Silver this coming week. Our first opponent in Gold will be ][nsurrection, a fellow IGL member!

IKK defeated SMS-Steel Maelstrom this past Sunday in IGL action. Some ping issues for SMS, but not a siungle complaint. GG SMS! Our next IGL opponent will be NCA-Netlords Coalotion of Arms. Should be an intense battle!

We are fast approaching the date that Punkbuster will be REQUIRED for match play in STA. Go get the update, or get it installed if you haven't already. I can't imagine the cost for someone missing a match because they didn't have PB installed.

Rankings are current as of 11:59PM on 2-21-01. I will probably have to rethink the rankings display on our page due to Top 25's being put out by Fragfortress.com and TFCell.com. Also, Scorp is through with the graphics for the website, and now I just have to make it all work together. Look for that coming soon....

IKK defeats SMS - Steel Maelstrom in IGL action. SMS were a great bunch of guys with not a complaint from them about their own ping problems, or from then playing a man short at the very beginning of round 1. GG SMS. Hang in there. We lost our first 8 in IGL! Don't let it get you down!

Also, our next IGL opponent will be [SMS] Steel Maelstrom. Both SMS and IKK have hit the skids in Ironglove action. SMS's first few weeks looks like ours when we joined IGL! I hope the stick with it like we have. They can only get better for it! GL SMS.

Due to [SoL] vacating the STA Silver Title to join the Gold division, IKK wil receive a one week bye, to await the next Title Shot match winner. IKK also received a BYE in the IGL, due to regular schedule rotation.

Need a scrim for Sunday or Monday night this weekend? Let IKK know, we have a week off due to BYE's in both our leagues! Come by channel #ikk in IRC, or drop us a note on the forum if interested.

Clan Council meeting held tonight, postponed from this past Sunday. Among the issues discussed...
- The attending members voted unanimously to submit a "NO" vote to STA concerning switching to a 8v8 format for matches.
- Due to our long roster with one of the best lineups in clan history, more stringent recruiting procedures were discussed.
- Concerns over the recent bout of lag plaguing the host of IKK servers. HaZZard mentioned that this shuld be remedied in the next couple of days.

Also from the meeting, a fresh new batch of promotions. HaZZard and Snofox were romoted to Corporal. Snakebite was made an officer and is now a Lieutenant. Officers receiving promotions... Tone-Loc (me) was promoted to Major, making me a permanent member of the High Council. (Thanks guys) Finally, Gunnar was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, due to his long history and dedication to the clan. Good work guys! Congratulations to all!

Well KoD handed our buttocks to us on CZ2 Sunday night in IGL action. I can't recall the score at this moment. It wasn't pretty. GG KoD

IKK defeats [RoC] Realm of Chaos in the STA Silver Title Shot Match! In a heart stopper of a match, IKK came back in the second round to tie it up! Thanks to Flak for getting the computer det at the last minute, and thanks to the RoC demoman who carried our flag around in their base for 5 minutes! Man, I bet he is sick to his stomach! In sudden death OT, we decided to hit 'em again at the first of the round with a rush (ala round 2), and we managed to scratch it out the door and get the short cap to win it! Final Score IKK 90 - RoC 80! w00t! GG RoC, in a game marred by server problems you guys played well! This marks the first win of IKK over RoC, dating back to our first few weeks in the STA Bronze.

SOL defended the STA Silver title against SR this week, which lets them move up to the Gold divivision. IKK will get a 1 week bye while we wait for a Title Match opponent. Maybe we could talk the STA-TFC Admin into letting us be champs in the meantime... hmmmmmm

In personnel news, Cloak has decided to leave the clan to go join a new clan some of his other buddies have created.

Beretta has created an Officer's Lounge section on the message board. This is to be used to discuss happenings in the clan between council meetings. Only officer's have the password for that section, so I'll have to talk to him about letting Sgt's in as well! heheheh :)

IKK defeats FOOD in STA Silver action. This sets up the Title Shot match with the winner of tonight's RoC (Realms of Chaos) vs. [-T-] Torque matchup. Great game all around. FOOD played down a man almost the entire first round, and the score reflected it. However, with a full 9 man roster for FOOD, IKK still held tight and takes round 2 as well. Final score: IKK 120 - FOOD 20

Don't forget practice this Wednesday night. We have KoD in IGL on Sunday, and they just beat PF. So everybody be there!

In personnel news... IKK gets another new member. Long time friend of the clan, everyone knows him as the new STA-TFC admin, but we have always known him as the smart mouth, RW trash talkin', AssGoblin... fresh from the flaming Pyroclastic Flow... welcome SnakeEyez.

Not much to talk about. No IGL match this week, due to Super Bowl. We pick back up the following week against KoD, and we have agreed to play canalzone2 9v9, instead of canalzon 10v10. So we shall see how that goes...

We get to battle FOOD this week in STA, the winner will most certainly get the Title Shot the following week.

IKK splits battles over Sunday and Monday. Annihilate apparenty decided they were going to bounce back from the IGL Title Match loss, and pummelled the IKK'ers on Canalzon by a score of 543-247. Last time we played a former IGL champ on this map was San Dawgs, and we helped them set an offensive record with over a 1000 points of offense. I guess we have improved. In STA Silver action, we beat aC|Assassins Clan on Tempest_r by a count of 116-32. Kudos to the D who held aC to only 1 single point in the first round! GG NIL8. GG aC.

Promotions handed out at the Clan Council meeting Monday night were....
Snakebite and Cloak make SERGEANT. Scorpio and Flak make LIEUTENANT. Reflex was promoted to CAPTAIN on a nomination by Beretta. Also at the meeting, Blade has decided that, with his STA admining duties, his time is worn thin, so Scorpio will now be filling the role as Clan Scout. In other personnel moves Adrehnaline has officially left the clan after his long stint on the Inactive roster and Rambo has been retired. Real life just keeps on rolling....

Website updates: In light of the recent promotions the roster has been updated and is current as of today. Bios will be updated ASAP, seeing as how today is the 4th Tuesday of the month. Also, the battle history is up to date as are the clan's total numbers found at the bottom of that page. I have created a graphic, by request, to display our current ranking in both our leagues and at the various ranking among the news sites and SDSE. It will be found immediately after the first news post on the main page from now on.

On a sadder note, Beretta has resigned his post as STA-TFC Copper Division Admin. In light of the way the legue admins recently overturned the TFC division admins' banning of 100kdl from the league, he felt he had no other option. You can read his resignation posting here.

Wow... alot happening this week! The big news this week being that |SD|San Dawgs have been removed from the TopTen Tourney League due to the discovery of a screen shot on SD's website showing that |SD|Dr.Feelgood was using the old spiked model pak cheat. This was from a match in that league vs. Torque back on October 10th, 2000. Dr.Feelgood was promptly thrown out of the SanDawgs by Xris. Due to the TTT's stance on fairplay and their Code of Conduct, they relaly had no alternative but to dismiss |SD| anyway. Now all the various leagues are about to rule on how this affects their leagues and what if any punishment they might impose on |SD|. Such a strange wild ride....

Don't forget practice on Sunday night before our IGL match against NIL8. The map is canalzon, and practice starts @7PM EST.

Hey great first round of play in STA the other night. Hey, where'd everybody go... wait come back! Wait... seriously we have to play another round. Yeah, I am not kidding... You play more than one round these days.... GG SOL. I quit keeping track of the score some where after Pi was factored in Wait it wasn't hard to keep track of our score, we only capped once in the 2nd round I think....

We are done with the Twin Galaxies Tournament. A quick census of the High Council, and it was a done deal. Of course, the website is so damn lame that I couldn't figure out how to delete us from the ladder. So if anyone mentions a clan called "Delete Us From The League"... you'll know who they are talking about.

Practice Wednesday night @8PM EST. After this weekends game... I think we need it.

IKK drops a tough one to WOLF. The Offense just could not crack WOLF's defense tonight, at least not enough to get the flag home. They Defense played a good game, as complimented by WOLF in their post match writeup. IKK loses to WOLF 40-0. GG WOLF! It was a bloody, hard fought battle. Good TFC.

Don't forget practice before our STA match on Monday night @7:30EST. This is our rematch against SOL, whom we lost to in the Bronze II Title Match not very long ago. Let's even the score!

Looks like IKK will be a 2 league clan for while. After the closing of the XRGL...again... the clan can regain a much needed practice night. Let's keep building on what we have worked so hard for, and continue to improve. Decision on our continued play in the Twin Galaxies Tournament is fothcoming.

If you haven't noticed the new graphics to the right, go ahead and take notice. The XRGL has folded for good, according to Ratboy, who felt we deserved mention in his final thank yous to the clans. GG XRGL.

IKK now has a total of 4 servers for TFC play, 2 on each coast!! HaZZard, IKK's latest member and server provider, has managed to provide us with 3 more servers. The Icehouse will continue to be our primary match/scrim/practice server, and the new servers will be public servers. Look at the graphic to the right for the server IP's and be sure to thank HaZZard every time you have the opportunity! GJ HaZZard!!!

|KoD| ends IKK's streak at 5 games. In the return to XRGL action, IKK held off the Knights of Death for the first round, and was down by only two caps, and we got to be the blue team for round 2 of darkness. Unfortunately it all fell apart for round 2. IKK loses...30 - 10.

IKK is now listed at #1 on the TFTribune.com Top 25 (due to match over bM), Solo has us at #19 on his Catacomb's Top 25, and thanks to our streak and our wins mainly over bM and SR the SDSE bumped us up from #53 to #32. Lots to be proud of lately, but don't let it go to your heads. Just read the first part of this news post for a nice reminder.

Next IGL and STA matches announced. We get to go up against WOLF in the IGL on Well, and we get SOL in STA Silver on darkness.

Make it 5 in a row! IKK extended their clan best winning streak to 5 games after defeating |SR| Silent Rage (made up of former Allied Forces/Clan Mafia/CLAW) by a score of 16-9 on darkness. This was our first game in the newly re-aligned STA Silver division. SR was another class act clan. GG |SR|!! Keep it going IKK!

Road bump in the winning streak up ahead... it's |KoD| Knights of Death in XRGL Title Match on Wednesday night. GL |KoD|... more necessarily GL IKK, it's going to be a rough one.

IKK takes one from bad Muthas in IGL action!!! In a defensive battle, the Killaz miraculously pulled out a 1-0 win from bM, one of the truly great clans in the TFC community! This has to be one of the proudest moments in the history of IKK. bM were a class act and a great bunch of guys to compete against. The fact that we hold them in such high regard makes this win so much sweeter! GG bM!

Don't forget pre-match practice tomorrow night @7:30EST. Let's make our first match in STA Silver a great one!

On a sad note... Real life claims another IKK'er. Tasha the Killer Dog, has retired from the clan and from TFC. He was a great teammate, and a team player in every definition of the term. You will be missed, Tash. Keep in touch!

IKK achieves first-ever 3 game winning streak! IKK defeats [PWT] Po' White Trash in STA Bronze II action on Monday night. IKK controlled the canalzone2 battle pretty much from start to finish winning by a score of 576-160. PWT were a great clan to compete against. First class all the way! GG PWT! GJ IKK on reaching a milestone.

Speaking of milestones, IKK will be 1 year old on Decemer 26th.

There will be no league matches for the next two weeks. However we do have a match in the Twin Galaxies tourney Thursday night. Check the forum for details or get with Beretta if you have questions.

IKK welcomes [SBC] Sadistic Bone Collectors to the IGL. 31-6 on mulch_trench. Not one bad word from SBC all night, match started on time without any hitches, and they even played most of Round 2 down a man or two. It was a pleasure to see a team come into the IGL and conduct themselves in such a manner. It was a pleasure SBC. GG, you guys will do fine, just keep your attitude and your heads up!

Clan Council re-elects What_the_Hell? as the clan's Commander. Thanks for doing the things you do, WTH! Promotions handed out by the Council tonight were.. Cloak (Corporal)... Flak, Scorpio, and Tasha (Sergeants)... Blade (Captain). Also, the council sets regular meeting schedule. The Clan Council will meet on the First and Thrid Sunday's of every month.

IKK welcomes back Snakebite, who has dusted himself off and come out of retirement. A formidable soldier back in the early days of IKK, we'll see if he's "still got it!" On another note, another recent addition to the clan, BigBT, has decided to part from the team for personal reasons. Despite the recent departures, IKK is still not actively recruiting , and is in an INVITE only mode at this time.

Praise GOD! FTP access has been restored and we have website updates o' plenty!!!

The Match History section of website has been completed. It can be reached via the Matches button to the left. Our complete history from OGL and up to date numbers from our tenures in IGL and STA. The XRGL history has not been recorded, due to that leagues uncertainty. The next phase of the history project will be the addition of links to match writeups and screen shots. No ETA on when that feature will be completed.

IKK gets a new Icehouse. The new ip is 63.104.238.158, which can be found in the Servers section of the website. It's an OC3 connection that the Killaz pay for themselves. It's a little unstable right now, with lag spikes every now and then, but that issue is being worked, and it should be a kick ass server!

In legue action... IKK lost its IGL match to ][nsurrection, on darkness. We got pwned in the first round, but fought back, and won the 2nd round, but not by nearly enough. GG ][! In STA Bronze II competition on Monday night, IKK blew out the Team Fortress Snipers in the first round, causing a 2nd round forfeit. Some server difficulties tainted what could have been a fun night. We apologize to TFS for the lag problems, and hope to have a better meeting the next time around.

No XRGL matches until further notice. Ratboy implores teams to "stand by their league" and not abandon again, while waiting for new servers and personal issues to subside. Perhaps on a more positive note, the San Dawgs Stock Exchange (SDSE) has picked up the XRGL, and will begin tracking all matches played in that league after Dec. 19th. (If there are any more games at all that is...)

Our next IGL opponent has been declared. In a move to avoid playing the delightful map "scrummage," IKK has used it precious supply of clan cash to challenge a new clan to the IGL. IKK wants to be the first to welcome our scrimmage buddies [SBC] Sadistic Bone Collectors into the league. The map will be Mulch_Trench. Let's make sure we give SBC a welcome on par with the welcomes that we received when we joined the league! :)

IKK loses to Clan FOOD in 3rd round overtime of our XRGL match. We played the first 25 minutes of the match with only 8 peeps, due to Friday night match time. We pulled within in 4 points, when that damn Final Score screen popped up! Grrrrrr.... GG Food! It was extremely exciting.

Don't forget pre-match practice Sunday night, prior to our IGL match. The practice begins @7PM EST, match starts @9PM EST.

3rd Round of XRGL match vs. FOOD to be played Friday night @9:30PM EST.
Apparently XRGL matches are decided by number of rounds won, like the OGL, after all. At least that's what an XRGL admin has stated. So we play the 3rd and deciding round we should have played tonight, on Friday night. Please try to make it if you can. We will play another round of Canalzone2 to determine the winner of the match.

Seems Xris and the San Dawgs were playing a little joke by announcing their clan's retirement. Ha ha. Good one Xris.

In IKK personnel news, we say goodbye to Cab and Hulk. Both were recent additions to the clan, and have made themselves recent subtractions. A crowded roster doesn't off the newer guys a lot of playing time. We understand. GL fellas!

Our next STA-TFC opponent has been announced. We play TFS - Team Fortress Snipers on Canalzone2. TFS is new to the STA league. Let's begin our journey back to the title match with a win!

Apparently Xris and the San Dawgs are fed up with TFC life, and call it quits after a disheartening loss to 100kdl, in a 1-0 OT match. Harsh words exchanged, accusations made, SD leaves the corroding GOLD scene behind. GG SD. We hope to see you when TF2 is finally released, if not sooner.

Next IGL opponent is apparently set. ][ Insurrection has paid IGL Clan Cash in order to challenge us IKK'ers to play on Darkness, rather than scrummage. Hmmmm....

IKK defeats CwO|ClockWork Orange in furious IGL action! With only a 15 point lead after Round 1, we knew it would be a fight for Round 2. It started off bad for us, with CwO gaining a big lead and momentum early in the 2nd round, but we were able to battle back. After we got an All Cap, CwO seemed to throw it all at us, in an erffort to pull out the victory. We were fortunate to get a couple of more all caps, while CwO scrambled to make something happen. IKK wins it 482-400. GREAT GAME ClockWork Orange! IKK is extremely proud to be able to get a win against such a fine calibur team! w00t!

In personnel news, Adrehnaline and FireWall have gone inactive for a couple of weeks, due to Real Life issues. We hope they can rejoin us soon!

Thanks to Clan Mafia, KoD, and SBC for scrims this week. All the scrims come in handy... so handy that we are now a Top 25 clan according to the TFTribune! In fact we are at #18! Un-freaking-believable! Be proud, but be realistic and humble boys... let's earn our ranking.

Big slate of matches upcoming... Most notably our TITLE MATCH for the STA-TFC Bronze II Division Title! We will be up against [SOL]Scream Out Loud. This clan contains alot of members from our old allies -TNP-. It should be pretty freakin' intense!

We go up against CwO|ClockWork Orange in IGL action Sunday night, on pipezone again (ack!). What fun.... Also, IKK makes a return to XRGL action on Wednesday. We are in the Middle Weight division this time, and our first match back is a Title Shot Match against |food|, a clan we scrimmed against a few weeks back.

Also, everyone congratulate Hulk, Cloak, and Cab for all fulfilling the requirements of their recruitment phase, and are now full members! Great job, guys!

In personnel news... Rambo has come out of retirement. Welcome back Rams. Also, please welcome |IKKr|Amish (pronounced AIM-ISH). He's no electricity-hatin', bible thumper. This guy will fire a rocket up your arse without thinking twice. Our kind of recruit.

In match news... IKK plays it to the bone with ][ Insurrection in IGL action on Sunday night. Insurrection manages to fend off IKK's dreams of an IGL insurrection, by thwarting our big 2nd round come back. IKK loses by 14 points on Pipezone (ack)! Monday night brought us a STA title shot match against some old familiar faces in klan Karnij. Most of that clan is made up of our our allies from the defunct Errant Minion. We all got reacquainted during a defensive slugfest. IKK wins by virtue of a 1-0 first round, as the 2nd round tied 1-1. Another stellar weekend of games for the Ice Kold Killaz. Things seem to be changing.... keep wathcin'....

IGL got on their horses already, and we discover wed get to play CwO|Clock Work Orange next week on Pipezone again (ack).

Oh yeah... Florida's administration said that Bush won. Gore says "not so fast." Any bets on Floridas votes being tossed out altogether? hmmmm....

Next IGL opponent announced and it's Insurrection. This will be IKK's first ever meeting against another of the premiere clans out there. Anyone still doubting why we are in the IGL?

IKK splits IGL/STA matches... loosing to clan 404 on run! Sunday night and then winning against /CHAOS on mulch_trench Monday. Both games were well played, by all parties involved. GG 404.. GG /CHAOS.. GJ IKK.

IKK welcomes another recruit in |IKKr|Cuckoo. Cuckoo comes with much skillz in the Soldier and Scout/Medic areas. He showed his stuff in his IKK debut Monday night against /CHAOS. WELCOME Cuckoo. We hope you have found a home!

IKK GETS NEW FLASH INTRO
w00t!! Did you wait to for the new intro to load? If you didn't I suggest you hit your back button immediately. Damn fantastic job What the Hell?! That intro makes me want to frag so bad I can't stand it!

IKK wants to thank our allies at [PRO] clan, and our good friends over at [DB] Death Bringers for the scrimms on Wednesday and Friday night. We hope the workouts were mutually beneficial!

IKK welcomes two more recruits to the clan, and says goodbye to one. Say hello to Big BT and Hulk. A promising engineer and soldier, respectively. On a sadder note, Vishnu, who came to us from our allies [PRO], has decided to resign from the clan for personal reasons.

It was a love fest Monday night in the Trench. Our good buddy's at Clan eXcelsior stayed a cap or two ahead. Round 1 eXel 9-7. Round 2 eXel 11-9. Total Score = eXel 18 - IKK 15. Can you say "shoot-out," boys and girls?

Thanks to SBC - Sadistic Bone Collectors for a good scrimmage Friday night, and clan FEAR for a good scrimmage on Saturday night, as well. We got a much needed look at a couple of our most despised maps... RUN! and Openfire. Thanks for the scrimmage guys.

Got some prematch pactice/scrimmage help from our good friends at PF|Pyroclastic Flow. They burned our asses a little and it seemed to help... THANKS!

We met up with A*C*M (Approaching Critical Mass) in IGL Sunday night and doubled them up. Round 1 was 6-3 for IKK, and Round 2 was 8-4. Combined score of 14-7. It's been a while since we saw A*C*M back in OGL action in Early April. It was fun to meet up with those guys again. A good game all around by all participants, and we hope to see those guys again in IGL soon.

Looks like it will be Bush in the presidential race. Recounts a plenty. Nothing will be official until Nov. 17th, most likely. By the way, I think I forgot to select the proper class in our last IGL loss. I think I played as another class instead of scout. Receiving promotions: Gunslinger (Captain), Blade & Reflex (Lieutenant), and we had 4 members promotoed to Corporal (Flak, Scorpio, FireWall, and Vishnu). Congratulations guys, thank you for your contributiuons to the team!

Also from the Clan Council, Blade will be assuming Clan Scout duties, and will be helped out by Scorpio. Thanks for taking on some responsibilities fellas, it's very much appreciated.

Congratulations to Beretta, who has signed on as a New Clan Liason for the Stronger Than All TFC League. IKK keeps on making a name for itself, and we couldn't ask for a better representative in the community. w00t!

IKK Fever... catch it! w00t! I think the Ice Kold Killaz need a marketing department. Anyone with a degree in marketing? Hella-crazy games this week.

Sunday saw us up against a bunch of idiots. However, these idiots come swinging 10 pound crowbars! Due to some crappy connections, and kick-em-when-they're-down mentatlity, IKK took CSI to Sudden Death OverTime! Unfortunately, OT was both deadly and sudden. GG! CSI takes it 8-7.

Monday night marks the first ever meeting of IKK and clan ir8 (irate... get it?). IKK led both rounds start to finish, but ir8 never gave up, or packed it in. Great effort on their part especially their Defense. GG ir8, welook forward to the next one. IKK wins 127 - 8.

IKK defeats Clan Chaos in STA action, 51-19. It was a HPB's wet dream! The Offense pulled out the crucial touch at the end of the first round, and then turned it on in the second. Great Job O. Also, Great job to our D regulars, this game could have been different without their play tonight. GG all around to all participants, \CHAOS especially!

ATTENTION: New Half-Life patch will be out the morning of Wednesday Oct. 25th! Snatch it up and install it ASAP. We have a scrim with DB Wednesday night so you will need it. Check the forum for details!

IKK will not resume STA action until Monday November 6th. Map will be Gleadhraich_r. Then we get Mulch_Trench the following two weeks! Also, IKK has withdrawn from the X-Rated Gamers League (XRGL), in an effort to reclaim precious practice time. Back to two leagues...

Membership news for IKK... Kneebiter and Bedbug Eddie have both decided to officially leave the clan, due to personal and real life time conflicts. Thanks for all the work fellas, and the servers, and everything. It was much appreciated. Also, Evil_Bum is apparently gone as well. He's taken to wearing a DO (Dark Omen) tag as of late. Good luck to him.

Another allied clan of ours has closed shop. We will miss -TNP- Take No Prisoners. A new clan is forming with the core members, so we'll see if the relationship with those guys continues.

Other clan news... AF|Allied Forces has disbanded again (second time in the last month), apparently this time for good. Damn good clan with a nice record and history in the TFC community.

The Ice Kold Killaz take one from Death Bringers in an IGL romp Sunday night! Pulling out from a 70 point defecit after round #1, IKK goes on to win 329 - 282 on Canalzone 2. Great Game to DB! Hard fought and one hell of an exciting match!

Don't forget... no STA match Monday night. AiM needed off for a Canadian holiday. We play them on October 15th. Yes, we have no bananas!

Due to AiM's inability to field enough people for Monday night, we have been forced into a BYE week, and we will play AiM next Monday night. The map next week switches to Crossover 2.

Another rough week for the Ice Kold Killaz. Losing on Sunday night against IGL newcomers ClockWork Orange, and then losing to our friends over at Clan Excelsior in STA action Monday night. Fortunately, we pulled it out and got a victory over BH in the XRGL on Wednesday night. That victory puts us into a title match once again with our old pals TNP. w00t!

Changes are coming to the website... actual information in the lnks page before the weekend is over... I guarantee. Also, maybe an IRC chat page, directly over the web? It could happen.

Scrimmage Friday night at 10PM EST versus clan SMS.

Alright then... Rough nights on Monday and Wednesday against KTRT and STAR. Slayer got a taste of leading the O in round 2 of the XRGL match on Wednesday night. Hope he and his teammates liked it, because Slayer will be running the O during my absence which is fast approaching. GG's to KTRT and STAR both, they played admirably and deserved their victories.

Other big news. IKK now has a new battle server to replace the old Icehouse that Fluffy was admin'ing for us. Special thanks to Hazard of clan [PRO] for getting us a great deal on a nosebleed creating OC3 server!! It will come at a cost, but it's worth it. Please contact Gunnar if you can donate to the monthly cost of the new battle server.

All but the XRGL has posted next week's schedule. You can see the upcoming matches, as always, to the right of these news posts. IGL shifts gears, and maps, and gives us Canalzone 2 (the original TFC version). STA, meanwhile, has us set to play Shutdown2. This si not the same as the original Shutdown which raised such a stink in the IGL last week!

IKK ends 2 game losing streak in the IGL with a 110-0 shutout of clan Maylstryx. First Round 10-0 (thanks Gunnar!)...Round 2 100-0. Blade makes return to active play a memorable, leading the O in the kills column.

Promotions handed out by the Clan Council... Beretta is now a full-bird COLONEL. Thanks for all the work you do, B! Reflex is promoted to Sergeant, making him a Clan Council member. KneeBiter and Tasha both move up to Corporal. Congratulations guys!

Weekend results of our clan battles are as follows... Another close one in IGL, thanks to the defensive-tilted map BAM. WOLF (best Flash movies in town) beats us 5-0. We faired better in STA. Against clan CRACK, on Openfire, we won 150-30. The defense is showing that their the backbone of this team, but our O came alive (finally) sparked by... FLAK! Very n0ice! CRACK is new to STA action, and is a nice bunch of guys with kind words for us. Check the forum.

Wednesday night is XRGL night with us in the TITLE MATCH against.... [-TNP-] Take No Prisoners. That's right, boys and girls, we get to put up the dukes against our good friends and allies. Ought to be fun!

Great job to NIL8, and to IKK's defense.... 5-0 total score on BAM! A hard fought battle all the way, they're D was a little too much for our O.

IKK says goodbye to DeathKnight and Agent Smith, but says hello to Evil Bum. Beretta is already praising this soldiers skills. Seems Evil Bum gave our Defensive Coordinator a little bit of a problem in one-on-one TOC action... TRANSLATION: He gave B a beatin' or two. Welcome aboard you "bum!"

In other IGL news, we didn;t get the $3,000 clan cash from AIM's forfeit. They had no money to give. Swingtime was generous enough to give us $1,000 for our troubles. (Incidentally, you get $1K for a win)

The Armed and Insane Monkeys [AIM] were a no show on Sunday night for IGL. Clan Cash due to forfeit is being discussed. More later...
